Discord Integration

The bot integrates with Discord to provide notifications and role synchronization. These features are powered by Twitch EventSub for real-time updates.

Notifications

Automatically post to a Discord channel when you go live or offline.

1. Go to the Discord tab.
2. Connect your Discord account and select a server/channel.
3. Customize the “Going Live” and “Offline” messages.

Role Sync

Sync your Twitch roles to Discord roles. This bot supports granular role mapping for:

• Followers
• Subscribers (All tiers, plus specific roles for Prime, Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3)
• Moderators
• VIPs
• Broadcaster
• Founder

[!NOTE] Twitch has an official Discord integration that can also sync Subscriber roles. You can use that if you prefer, or use this bot for more granular control (like Follower roles or specific Tier roles).

Setup

1. Enable Role Sync in the Discord tab.
2. Select the corresponding Discord role for each Twitch role.
3. Create New Roles: If you don’t have a suitable role, click the + button next to the selector to create a new Discord role directly from the dashboard.
4. Important: Viewers must link their accounts at /link for this to work.

When a viewer follows, subscribes, or changes status on Twitch, the bot will automatically assign or remove the configured roles on Discord.
